Stimuleringsfonds Architectuur A core task for the Fund is to promote professional excellence. Continuous development of the design disciplines is a prerequisite for strengthening the position of design in everyday practice and contributing to high-quality spatial design at all scales. The SfA has therefore made it a top priority to support innovative initiatives in this field. The Research and Design Grant Programme has been set up for research projects and project proposals. The projects concern current and future spatial issues. They focus on the design explorations of new programmes and conditions — related to design — in the field of interiors, architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, or combinations thereof. |

Waag Society develops creative technology for social innovation. The foundation researches, develops concepts, pilots and prototypes and acts as an intermediate between the arts, science and the media. Waag Society cooperates with cultural, public and private parties. Waag Society is housed in two historic monuments in Amsterdam, de Waag and Pakhuis de Zwijger The Urban Reality Lab researches how (social, sensor and mobile) network infrastructures and mobile devices can contribute to new ways in which we move through the city, interact with places and people and are made aware of, can respond to and can participate in big city issues. |
